The Bottle Design

A Thierry Lecoule creation

"After the success of Cabotine, the House GRÈS had to find a design with a strong personality.

The cherry red specific to CABARET stands out against the omnipresent green of Cabotine. Its ultra-classic shape forsakes romantic details, opting instead for a more sensual, resolutely modern sculpture.

Its semi-transparent dress parts to reveal the soul of the bottle: the fragrance. With a fishnet that evokes sensuality and seduction, I wanted to rediscover the sensitivity of these muse-women, to offer them a bottle whose grace, elegance and seductiveness stirs our emotions.

The concept of luxury was an imperative, which we achieved thanks to finely worked glass. The work of a master glass-maker on an industrial scale. The weight of the glass and the cap, exceptionally solid, cut and engraved directly from the metal, places this bottle firmly in the luxury universe.

I chose innovative technologies: the extreme fineness of a neck, for example, at the limit of what is feasible, symbolises the graceful waist of a dancer.

The bottle’s original décor uses a new expertise and required special technology developed for this project.

Predominant in all my designs, contrasts give a bottle its style and its strength. This low-cut dress where the two noble colours, the red and the gold of the packaging, harmoniously intersect, in turns conceals and reveals  the apparent fragility of the bottle, stabilised by a wide base and the heavy glass and  its tactile sculpture and its pure silhouette.

With its innovative design and its impeccable finish, CABARET makes its mark and carries on the magnificent history of the House of GRÈS. "
