The Fragrance:

Refreshingly floral, incredibly feminine

Experiencing Fleur de Cabotine is like immersing yourself in a field of exquisitely fragrant flowers.

The romantic perfume opens on a vibrant top note, the intoxicating scent of syringa flower blending harmoniously with fruity mandarin and delicate reseda (mignonette).

The flowery heart note unfolds as softly and subtly as the exquisite floral elements at its core. White lily – symbol of purity and beauty – reigns, delicately orchestrated with the essences of wild orchid, peony and cactus blossom.

The warm base note provides an elegant finale, a fascinating blend of nectarine, heliotrope and musk that rounds off the feminine floral scent with a hint of sensuality.

The work of two master perfumers

Fleur de Cabotine is the creation of two great masters of their craft. Working in close collaboration, the two accomplished “noses” Jean Claude Delville (Firmenich New York) and Jean-Pierre Béthouart (Firmenich Paris) have composed a fragrance that bursts with freshness and lightness – an inspired new take on the successful classic Cabotine.

The Paris-born Jean Claude Delville revealed his talent for the high art of perfume from an early age. He began his perfumery training when he was just 17, simultaneously studying perfumery design and art, chemistry, science and fashion. After three intensive years, he earned the title of perfumer. Today, Jean Claude Delville boasts 32 years of professional experience. He has created fragrances for Quest, Creations Aromatiques, IFF and Firmenich, and has lived in Europe, Asia and the United States. In partnership with renowned houses including Estée Lauder, Kenzo, Aramis, Parfums Grès, Yves Rocher and Liz Claiborne Cosmetics, Jean Claude Delville has created numerous internationally successful fragrances.

Jean-Pierre Béthouart discovered the world of perfume in 1971, as a 25-year-old chemist just beginning to work for Colgate. He soon realized that creating perfumes was his true passion, allowing him to work as an artist in the name of beauty. Jean-Pierre Béthouart continued to refine his methods by drawing on artistic techniques, among other things. From 1981 to 1987, the dedicated perfumer worked for Givaudan, before ultimately moving on to Firmenich Paris. His most celebrated creations include scents for Dior (For Ever&Ever, Dune pour Homme), Sonia Rykiel (Belle en Rykiel), Burberry (Burberry Touch), Versace (V/S, The Dreamer), Nina Ricci (Les Belles de Ricci) and many other renowned labels.
